On first meeting the client it became clear that Federation of Abbey Schools was too heavy, they saw themselves as 'simply Abbey'.

The smaller element represents the infant school, the larger element represents the junior school and together they form Abbey.

The pupils were asked to draw what ‘Abbey’ meant to them, their ideas were turned into a seamless pattern that is used within the branding. This was a great way to engage the kids with the rebrand.
